Our city offers something for all age groups. There is a wide range of tailor-made offerings and an infrastructure that caters for all walks of life, from children, young people and senior citizens to single people and families.
People with a disability will also feel welcome in Erfurt. A growing number of public buildings are now fully accessible, and the local public transport network is setting an example with its low-floor vehicles and adapted stops.

We recommend that families with children obtain the Erfurt Family Pass from the youth welfare department, as it contains a number of vouchers for recreational activities, entertainment and plenty more. The equivalent for everyone aged 65 and over is the Erfurt Senior Citizen Pass, which is available from the Citizen Services Department of the Office for Social Affairs.
